- Celequest - Exciting Opportunities at a Pre-IPO Startup
- Sun, Oct 30, 2005 @ 04:00 PM Upson B17
- Join us for a chance to secure an interview slot and win a 1 GB USB drive! Celequest, founded in 2002, is a venture backed Silicon Valley startup with 10 developers and about 30 employees. We are the first commercial developer of a new type of database called a Streaming Database. Unlike a standard relational database, which stores data as it is input, and runs queries on demand, a streaming database takes as input a live stream of data in real-time, and runs queries continuously against that data. We have a sleek thin-client user-interface that allows business users to setup rules and alerts on their data, which are implemented as continuously running queries in our steaming database. A stockbroker could setup an alert to disallow stock trades that could cause any portfolio to become overexposed, for some complicated business definition of "overexposed.“ Make sure to visit www.celequest.com for more info.
